My Twitter marketing background
I wrote a series of Twitter marketing articles in December 2008 / January 2009. Articles were enjoyed by more than 20,000 people, more than 200 people commented on them, and more than 200 people retweeted them on Twitter.
I compiled all the articles and published them as a free PDF report in late January 2009. More than 3500 people downloaded the PDF in the first week.
In March 2009, I was asked to write a Twitter marketing article for Leo Babauta’s WriteToDone blog. This resulted in another successful article with more than 30 comments and more than 80 retweets.
With all my articles out there, the demand didn’t stop. I still received lots of questions and comments. People wanted my opinion on Twitter topics. Some even asked me to recommend them Twitter products to buy to learn more advanced lessons.
I try to give people what they want and I decided that I can give my visitors something better by creating a product on my own instead of referring them to other products.
I don’t play Internet marketing sales games. It is misleading and irritating. There is no long sales letter, there is no fake hype, and no hard sell pitches. My e-book is 100% content. No catches and no affiliate links inside the book trying to sell you a bigger product.

I really liked your twitter ebook. I seriously think its one of the best products on twitter and would have no problems recommending it to most of my friends.
Here are the things I liked:
- it was for people at different levels
- It had diagrams to explain things, but not excessively so
- it was very reasonably priced
- the chapters had actionable steps at the end of it
- the information was presented so it built on previous chapters.
A lot of that seems basic, but you’d be surprised at how many dodgy twitter products are out there.
I would be very interested to hear about your plans for premium products in the future.

I am finding the ebook so useful that it is my bible by the computer so I can continually refer to it when I am using Twitter and to help me become more efficient at using this social media tool. I love the book because I am busy like most people trying to juggle so many things and then there is learning about the on-line world and wanting to be part of this too. How do you find the time to trawl the internet to find all the free information out there on how to use tools like Twitter. So for people like me it is a fab all in one place easy reference to all that is Twitter and particularly for me ‘Twitter Marketing’.

I was very impressed with your ebook as a product and I think it’s good value for the money. I have been using Twitter for some time but had neglected it recently. I think I became a little bored with it. However, I noticed that when this happened the number of visitors to my site declined quite considerably. When I saw your offer I thought I might get some motivation and some good advice on features I had not bothered to explore. I was well rewarded. Your ebook is a great reference for Twitter tools, many of which are new to me. But I was most interested in your advice on the business aspects of Twitter. I have to say I have been a bit reluctant to push my site, to go all-out for new followers and to take a more professional approach, but I now see that I can do that in a way that will not offend or amount to a misuse of the medium.
I am currently producing an information product of my own and when it is complete I will be putting your advice to good use. I also like the format of your ebook. The way it is laid out makes the information accessible and attractive. You have done a lot of hard work to get it to the stage it’s at so I hope it goes well for you.
Why you must be on Twitter
I joined Twitter on 30th November 2008 and it quickly showed me why it is a must-use communicational platform if you want to build relationship, authority and drive customers to your site. Today I have more than 16,000 followers on Twitter and it is the most important source of my traffic along with Google. Instead of talking I will show you some screenshots:


And the thing is that I do not promote my blog as much as I could. I post tweets when I have a new article and sometimes I post a tweet about some of my older articles.
